Program Director:
The Program Director will receive and evaluate application forms submitted by host organizations and potential interns that wish to be part of the Internship Program. The Program Director is there to resolve conflicts between interns and their host organizations if necessary and is there to answer questions about the program.

Oversight Committee:
The main role of the Oversight Committee is to give guidance, suggestions and support to the Program Director. Any issues that cannot be resolved through the Program Director will be taken to the Oversight Committee including any appeals made by interns or host organizations whose online accounts have been denied or terminated for some reason.

Internship Coordinator

  1. The Internship Coordinator serves as the contact person for the Program Director in a given host organization.
  2. The Internship Coordinator will monitor the interns performance based on:
  3. Terms of Employment
  4. Internship Specifications
  5. Internship Program Standards
  6. The Internship Coordinator will communicate with the Program Director when necessary.

Intern Mentor

  1. Because the Internship Program is designed to promote both the professional and spiritual development of Unificationist youth, the Internship Program requires that each host organization designate someone who will be available to the interns for help and advice, both professionally and spiritually. This person is called the Intern Mentor.
  2. The Mentor is not expected to provide expert counseling but is asked to maintain a relationship with the intern where they can provide basic guidance and direction.
  3. The Mentor is responsible for meeting with the intern on a regular basis (at least once a week) to check on how they are doing both professionally and personally.
